MEASURING YOUR WRIST FOR A TIGHT-FITTING CUFF

(Bracelet that has an opening at the back)

John Hardy Wrist Sizing Guide

Step One: Measure the circumference of the wrist above the wrist bone (towards the elbow) with the flexible tape measure.

Step Two: Compare the measurements to the chart below and choose the bracelet size that corresponds to the measurement.

For example, if your wrist measures 6 inches and you want a tight fit then you would order a size Small-6 inch. You would receive a 6-inch bracelet with a 1-inch gap at the back so it would fit nice and tight when pinched closed, you can open the gap slightly for comfort. If a looser fit is preferred, choose one size larger.

MEASURING FOR A BANGLE

(Bracelet that has no opening, solid all the way around)

How to Measure and Fit a Bangle Bracelet | Jewelry Making Blog | Information | Education | Videos

The bangle size is determined by the size of your hand and not your wrist. It needs to slide over your hand first, so this measurement is what is important.

To determine your bangle size, simply tuck your thumb into the palm of your hand (as if about to put on a bangle) and using a measuring tape, measure your hand all the way around the set of knuckles closest to your wrist, from knuckle to knuckle, this should be the widest part of your hand the bangle will need to fit over. Compare that measurement to the chart below.

RING SIZES

Narrow Band Rings: should fit snugly at the base of the finger but also wide enough to fit the widest part of the knuckle.

Wide Rings: fit tighter then narrow band rings. The wider the ring the tighter the fit. You would order a half to a full size larger than what you would typically wear in a narrow band ring when buying a wide ring. It is best to take your measurement using a ring sizer close to the width of the ring you are purchasing.
